It's definitely a Monday!

Yes, today was a typical Monday.  For me the day started at 3:30am when I just woke up and couldn't go back to sleep.  I have to say that I don't mind waking early too much because it's quiet time for me and I actually had a chance to read a magazine that's been sitting on my coffee table for days!  The kids started showing their faces at around 6:30, but when Sam wasn't upstairs by 7:05, Jake started to panic (he doesn't like to be late).  Well, her alarm didn't go off so we told Jake to just go and B took Sam to school a little late.  I spent the day cleaning, changing sheets and doing laundry.  Time flew and before I knew it I had to pick up kids!  As for dinner, I made chicken strips (fat-free Italian dressing with light breading), roasted baby red potatoes, broccoli and tomatoes with mozzerella and pesto (my favorite).  The kids were happy, B was happy, so, needless to say, I was happy!
