I LOVE designing blogs!

I was so happy today to design a blog for a high school friend who just started blogging!  It's been a while since I've come up with an idea and implemented it for someone else, and I had a really good time with this one!  I wish my blog design business had gotten off the ground because I have so much fun doing it.  No matter, I'm excited to do it whether I'm being paid or not :)  Really!!!

While I was "creating" on my computer, I was also "creating" in the kitchen!  Nothing too difficult though, pasta sauce and turkey meatballs.  In my quest to get us all to eat a little healthier, I used whole wheat pasta.    All the kids LOVED it and just kept thanking me.  It's sad when your kids are so used to you NOT cooking that it's a treat when you do!  Zach asked what I'll make tomorrow night and I asked for suggestions...he said, "something different"!  Isn't that awesome?!

Send me your interesting recipes!  Nothing too different though, we're taking baby steps here :)

And now...a photo of my sauce and meatballs...

Have you ever tried mini-turkey-meatloafs. You'll need 2-3 pounds of ground turkey, 2/3 warm water, 1box of stuffing and one cupcake pan. Mix the stuffing and water until somewhat soft and add the ground turkey. Then just fill each cupcake section of the pan with the mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 for 20-25 minutes. You can add additional flavor by topping with shredded cheese. It makes about 24 mini-meatloafs.
