About Me

I am the mother of five beautiful, diverse children ages 21, 17, 16, 13 and 5, who are in college down to kindergarten.  I've been married to an amazing, wonderful, caring, loyal, handsome man for twenty-two years and feel blessed to share my life with my best friend!  With all the kid-craziness in my life, I manage to have a few hobbies...I love photography, making jewelry, blog design, furniture re-do, and have recently gotten into searching for great deals and giveaways.

I started this blog over five years ago as a way to document the adoption of our youngest from China.  I've had slow periods when I haven't done a lot of blogging, but for the most part I've been relatively consistent.  I really love letting everyone share with us in our everyday life!  I wish I could be more articulate like so many of the bloggers that I love to read and follow, but I'm not a writer, just a Mom who loves to talk about her kids and pets :)
