On Saturday, Phoebe went to a "Fancy Nancy" birthday party! Sam got her ready and she looked BEAUTIFUL!
We spent Saturday, as a family, going through the 10 BAGS of clothes that the "fire specialty dry cleaner" deemed unsalvageable. So much stuff! Some were favorites, like my black leather Ugg boots that my Mom bought me a few years ago :( However, stuff is just stuff. We had fun with it and really enjoyed the time together! It was sad seeing my wedding dress among the bags, even though the cleaner had warned me, but Sam put the dress on over her clothes and I took pictures...we all had a laugh about it. It never ceases to amaze me how beautiful she is!! Working in sooty clothes for hours and she jumps into the dress and looks more beautiful than I did on my wedding day!
I also got some pics of our little Sis racing around the yard just being a cute puppy!!!
On a food note...last night I was going to make grilled chicken and veggies, but my Sweet P said, "Mommy, when are you going to make my favorite chicken with the crackers?" She was referring to my WORLD FAMOUS chicken and rice, so I discarded my first idea and went with her request. It was super yummy, as usual!
Tonight I decided to try a recipe that a friend in New York, Kim, gave me...Mini Meatloaves! THANKS KIM!!!! They were delectable and the kids loved them! Once again I tried taking some "foodie" pics. I will perfect this some day...
Bryan just walked in the door after a two day trip to Denver. Tomorrow we're picking out cabinet doors and I'm hanging out with my best bud, Pam! We're walking and then she wants me to show her how to do the "blog thing".
Hmmmmm, what shall I make for dinner? Any suggestions?

No ideas for dinner but I would love the recipe for the mini meatloaf!
Candace, check out the comment on my "meatball" post. That's where Kim posted the recipe. Really easy and delish!
