We've got a busy weekend ahead. It's prom weekend! Jake is taking his friend (broke up with his girlfriend), Bri, and Sami is going with our neighbors' foreign exchange student from France, Shemi! I'll post pics tomorrow and they'll make you smile! I took Sam to get a prom dress, and as some of you know, it was a majorly crazy decision-making process! It's hard to choose when everything looks great! The funny thing is, she picked the yellow dress but today asked if we could take it back to get the fuschia dress! Aaaaaaahhhhhh! My sister-in-law, Annetta, keeps telling me how lucky I am to have girls, but I don't know about that…my sons never give me a hard time about anything!
Also, today was "Kindergarten Round-up" for Miss P! It's so hard to believe that our baby is going into kindergarten next year. She was so excited! We picked her up from school at 11:30 and took her to lunch…
After lunch we headed to the elementary school. She would barely contain her excitement!
I don't think we have to worry about her heading off to "big girl school"!!!
Dinner tonight was a success and B was here to enjoy it!!! Flank Steak with Spanish rice and edamame. Also, Angel Food cake with pineapple, strawberries and whipped cream. All from scratch…YUMMY! I have to say again that I love cooking when it is enjoyed!!! I can't wait for my new kitchen with the 8'x5' island!!!! Lots of space to create! My old kitchen didn't have any counter-space!
