Catching up! Prom, Florida...

I'm so behind on my posts but I've had a whirlwind week!  Saturday was the prom, Sunday morning I flew to Florida because Candace and her family were there visiting, surprised my parents, then flew home on Wednesday morning.  When my plane landed, B was outside the gate with his suitcase.  I got a kiss and the car keys because he was headed out ON THE SAME PLANE to go to Virginia!  Needless to say…insanity!  So, now that I have a few minutes…

The Prom:

Jake took one of his friends, really went as a group, and had a blast!  Sami went with Shemi, she is from France and has been living with our good friends, the Orwicks.  She wanted to go to prom, but has a boyfriend back home, so she took Sam :)

Then I headed to Florida!  Mom and Dad had no idea I was coming and it was a last minute decision.  Candace and Joe had decided to renew their vows while visiting Mom and Dad…they've been married for 10 years and had "eloped"  when they were stationed in Minot, ND.  Dad has always been a little sad that he never got to walk her down the aisle or have a daddy/daughter dance, so Candace wanted to surprise them!  I couldn't stay away because I was also disappointed that I never got to see my girl get married!!!  

I was really happy to spend a little (too little) bit of time with my beautiful nieces and my super, duper awesome nephew!!!
