Other than that, we are still in the hotel. It's insane because it's not a "family" setting. We have three rooms and if the kids go from room to room the other hotel guests complain that we're too noisy! We are somewhat noisy, but so are those doors!!! Cooking meals is a challenge because, even though we have three "kitchens", the kitchenettes are small with very little counter space. Plus, our tables are getting more and more crowded with our "stuff" so it's difficult to sit down together for a meal. We've been blessed with wonderful friends and neighbors who have cooked delicious meals for us and brought them to the hotel. Plus, we had a wonderful meal and cocktails at Nick & Jake's, a gift from one of the owners (and our neighbor), Leigh.
I feel like I've learned quite a few life lessons during the last five weeks. It's been eye-opening in so many ways.
I'm attaching pics that I took yesterday at the house:

I hope that everything goes smoothly and you are all back in you house soon.

I am so sorry you and the family have had to go through this. It is genuine for you to feel sad, you have lost so much. You really haven't had time to grieve as you had to step right up to control mode and making sure your family was safe and living in a safe enviroment, trying to be somewhat normal. Keep moving forward, it will never be gone but will be better. Love to you, Debbie
