We got our TA (Travel Approval) !!!

Life is good! Everyday for the past week, when I picked Zachary and Sami up at school, Zachary asked me, "Did we get our TA?" or if I told them I needed to talk to them he would say, "We got our TA, right?" I would tell him, "Good job buddy! Keep thinking those positive thoughts and you'll bring our TA to us!" Well, Thursday, when I was at the gym without phone service, our agency called. I got the message when I got to my car, "Call us, we have travel news!" I wanted to wait until I got home to call and when I walked in the door Zachary said, "Mommy, our agency called and left a message. I think we got our TA. I let the answering machine pick it up." I called the agency and they told us "Yes! You have TA!" What does this mean? It means that China has told them we can travel there to get our girl. Now we have more waiting, until next week, to find out our definite schedule and consulate appointment. Our agency said we will probably leave May 3rd or 4th and return around the 18th. We couldn't be more excited! We aren't without some stress though. Mom and Dad have been planning on coming to stay with the kids, thankfully, since we don't know who else could help us out for such a long period of time, but they are supposed to have guests flying in from New Jersey on April 30th until May 14th! YIKES! Not good!!! So our excitement has turned to panic because we don't know what we're going to do!!

We did some shopping today to purchase the items on the "Packing List" our agency gave us. It was so fun buying baby stuff...even DIAPERS! I took a picture of some of the stuff I laid out to pack for P.
