We got a call today from our agency that our Consulate Appointment is May 16th! This is our timeline:
5/4 Leave Kansas (This is also Mom and Dad's 44th anniversary!)
5/5 Arrive in Hong Kong
5/7 Fly from Hong Kong to Nanchang (the capital of P's Province, Jiangxi)
5/8 Get our girl!! (This is also Candace's 26th birthday! Phoebe's "gotcha day")
5/14? Fly from Nanchang to Guangzhou (this is where the Chinese Consulate is located)
5/16 CA
5/18 Fly from Guangzhou to Hong Kong and then fly home
5/19 Arrive home
That means we are leaving in 24 days!!! Woo Hooooooo!!! Here we go...
I'm taking my laptop and will hopefully be updating the blog with news from China and pictures. I'm so happy to take all of you along, sort of, on this amazing journey!
