An update on our adoption

I wish I had some new and exciting news to post here, but I don't. Right now, as we have for the past five months, we are just WAITING. Without getting into the confusing details, China has had a slowdown due to several factors, one of which is the increased number of people adopting from China. As of right now, the timeframe from Log In (for us that date is March 24, 2005) to Referral (picture and info on the baby they have chosen for you), is at 13 months. There are reports that the wait will stabilize at 12 months, and if this is true we have seven months to go. Seems like a long time, but my kids are keeping me crazy busy right now, so the time seems to be passing pretty quickly. We're just praying that the timeline doesn't increase to 18+ months. If it does, I'm sure there is a reason. Our little girl will come to us when she is supposed to. I'll post updates, and will hopefully have more information soon.
